One thing that should be noted right away is to not ignore any mail from your lender. They obviously hold all the power in whether they find the need to foreclose or not, so everything that is sent to you from them should be read and not simply set aside. If you are purposely ignoring their mail because of low or lack of income, don’t be afraid to contact them about it so a payment plan, or something of that nature, can be arranged. It is nothing to be embarrassed about.
